Specialty Labels

Specialty labels are designed for unique or challenging applications where standard labels may not be suitable. These labels are made with specific materials, adhesives, or coatings to meet special performance requirements such as extreme temperatures, chemical resistance, moisture exposure, or repeated use. They are often used in industries like healthcare, food and beverage, electronics, logistics, and manufacturing. Examples include tamper-evident labels for security, cryogenic labels for lab storage, reclosure labels for consumer packaging, and thermal indicators for temperature-sensitive goods. Specialty labels ensure reliable performance, safety, and compliance in demanding environments.

Extreme temperature labels are built to withstand very high or very low temperatures without losing adhesion or print quality. They are commonly used in industrial, freezer, or outdoor environments.

Reclosure labels feature a special adhesive that allows packages to be opened and resealed multiple times without tearing, making them ideal for items like wet wipes, snacks, and other resealable consumer goods.

Cryogenic labels are formulated to survive ultra-low temperatures, such as those found in liquid nitrogen storage, making them essential for medical, laboratory, and biological sample labeling.

Lastly, thermochromic labels change color in response to temperature shifts, providing a visual indication of whether a product has been exposed to unsafe conditions. These are often used for food safety, pharmaceuticals, or temperature-sensitive logistics.
